Our aim is to provide a safe, accessible space for queer people while uplifting local LGBT traders.
Our Market is run twice a year but we're expanding with some mini markets, so keep your eyes peeled!

Upcoming Markets!! Big Gay Market Summer - 30th July BAaD @ Barras 5pm - 10pm Dyke Market - 8th October Box Hub 5pm - 10pm Accessibility - we strive to make our markets as accessible as possible, we ensure we use accessible buildings when hosting our markets however we cannot guarantee on the day accessibility. We aim to provide a quiet hour at our markets and are working to make these more and more accessible with each market as we learn. Event Tickets - tickets are sold at £1 each with optional donation, all ticket costs go back into allowing us to run BGM. Please note we are NOT an organisation/corporation - we're local artists who sell our work who wanted to create a queer space, we are not event organisers and we are learning with each event, so please be kind to us :--)

Looking to apply for our market? Here's some important info listed below: Main Market: We hold 2 main markets each year, one during summer and one for winter. This allows for 31 tables at each market and can be split with traders. If you wish to share a table with a specific trader please let us know, otherwise we'll do some matchmaking and pop you with someone we think would compliment your work. Tables are priced at £60 per table or £30 for a half table. We provide all tables for you but we do ask if you can provide your own tablecloth. We are a STRICT NO AI market, any applicants found to be using generative AI will not be accepted. We also don't accept downloaded 3D printed junk. Please note, we are not a kink market, so we can't accept sex toy makers. Don't fret if you're not successful with every application, we swap in and out our traders regularly. Unfortunately for makers such as illustrators/ceramicists/crotchet we receive a high number of each of these applications and to ensure there is no competition on the day, we limit the vendors we accept for these. Tips and tricks for getting accepted! 1. be flexible if you can! we last received almost 170 applications for 29 tables. We recommend half tables to allow for more vendors, it's also more cost efficient if you're super new to trading!! 2. If you can fill more categories than just one, ie illustrator but also makes clothing, ceramics but also makes jewellery as examples. 3. If you have ANY work that contains bunnies? Make sure they're included (they are my biggest soft spot)
